Section Overview
The section's focus of basic and clinical research includes diabetes, thyroid, metabolic bone, lipid, hypertensive, and prostatic diseases.
Our multidisciplinary programs include an integrated research training program in molecular endocrinology with senior members of the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology. The Endocrine Fellowship Training Program is designed to provide excellent training in both clinical and research endocrinology in preparation for an independent academic career. Physicians with exceptional clinical skills who intend to pursue a career in clinical endocrinology will be considered for fellowship positions as well.
In addition, our clinicians provide state-of-the-art, caring treatment for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders at four clinics in the medical center.
