About the Department of Neuroscience
The Department of Neuroscience has annual research funding of nearly $29 million and is ranked No. 6 in the United States for NIH research funding. The Department includes a state-of-the-art Center for Advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Memory and Behavior Research Center and the Center for Neuroscience and Artificial Intelligence. The Neuroscience Graduate Program at Baylor College of Medicine is a top-tier program that marries interdisciplinary science with other fields such as chemistry, computer science, engineering, linguistics, mathematics, medicine and allied disciplines, philosophy, physics, and psychology.
