The Association for Graduate Student Diversity is a student run organization committed to the development of professional scientists from all cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. The Black Scientist Collective consists of Baylor trainees (students, post-doc, research technicians, etc.) who promote Black excellence in science. We aim to support the success and well-being of Black scientists through personal, professional, social, academic and community development.

BCSSA is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, voluntary organization whose members are mainly scholars and students from China. Climbing Club
The Climbing Club at Baylor College of Medicine is a student group comprised of top, sport, trad climbers, and boulderers of all skill levels interested in pursuing both indoor and outdoor rock climbing.

Our 250+ members are among the trainee pool from nearly every institution at the Texas Medical Center and include Ph.D.s, M.D.s, and J.D.s who are interested in learning about the management consulting career track, or applying to positions at consulting firms.

Graduate Student Council
The Graduate Student Council is the medium between the students and the graduate school administration. We organize First Year Initiative groups, help with orientation, social activities, charity events including the annual Art Show, volunteering, and the members also serve on other Baylor and TMC committees. We are the students' voice.

Hispanic Women in Science
We are an inclusive group of mostly Hispanic/Latina women across different institutions of the Texas Medical Center (TMC). We hold monthly meetings with invited speakers from the TMC and discuss different issues concerning gender differences and diversity in science, current diversity and outreach programs in Houston, and speakers' personal experiences during their scientific training. We also participate in outreach activities around the Houston area and collaborate with other groups in the TMC scientific community.

The Postdoctoral Association is an organization linking the postdoctoral scholars and the graduate school administration where members also serve on other BCM and TMC committees. In addition, we organize Career Development workshops, panels, and symposia for all GSBS trainees.

Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) at BCM
SACNAS is dedicated to empowering and fostering the success of Chicanos/Hispanics, Native Americans, and other underrepresented minority students in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM. The SACNAS chapter at Baylor College of Medicine (SACNAS at BCM) aims to cultivate a supportive, diverse, and inclusive community underrepresented students, post-docs, faculty, and staff at BCM, while celebrating the culture, science, and leadership of our underrepresented scientists.

SPECTRUM
We represent Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Ally trainees at Baylor College of Medicine who contribute to advances in biomedical sciences and provide a forum for discussing advances in science, technology, engineering, and math.

STEM Education Interest Group
The STEM Education Interest Group is comprised of graduate students and post-docs who are interested in exploring the "science of teaching science." We meet monthly where one member presents a selected article that specifically focuses on evidence-based teaching practices in undergraduate STEM education. We then discuss these teaching practices (in both the context of the article and our own previous experiences) and determine if/how we'd incorporate these practices into our own classes.

Taekwondo Club
The Taekwondo club provides a forum for Baylor students interested in martial arts to network, share training opportunities, and organize seminars and other events of interest to martial artists. The club also offers weekly training sessions in Taekwondo and other martial arts here at Baylor.

Taiwanese Student and Scholar Association is composed of Taiwanese graduate students and postdoctoral associates. Our goal is to establish tight connections among members and introduce Taiwanese culture to American society.
