Diploma in Tropical Medicine Schedule


Modules do not need to be taken in order. However, module three must be successfully completed before taking module four. To obtain the diploma, all four modules must be completed within three years from completion of the first module. After completion of all four modules students are eligible to apply for the ASTMH Certificate of Knowledge Examination (provided additional examination application criteria are met).

Module 2: (TDTPM 102: Tropical Bacteriology and Virology) in online format
Jan. 4 – 29, 2021

Module 3: (TDTPM 103: Tropical Parasitology and Mycology) in online format
Feb. 1 – 12, 2021 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mon. to Friday)

Module 4: (TDTPM 104: Application of Travel and Tropical Medicine) in online format
Feb. 15 - 26, 2021 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mon. to Friday) Pre-requisite: Module 3

Module 1: (TDTPM 101: Epidemiology, Public Health) in online format
March 1 – 26, 2021 

Note: All students must take the final exam on the scheduled date. If a student has a scheduling conflict with the scheduled exam date and time, the student must provide written proof of conflict and get it approved by the course director to take the exam at an agreed scheduled time. No other exceptions will be made regarding taking the exam early.
